We make behavior in crypto markets measurable through aggregated data.
We capture the sentiment of markets or individual currencies, making price changes, volatility and cycles more explainable, predictable, and controllable.
the _crymet story
The _crymet project was launched by Manuel in early 2023 in the heart of the Austrian Alps. Manuel, specialized in neuroeconomics and financial mathematics, has been working as a manager and consultant for over a decade.
The aim of the project was to develop a Fear & Greed Index that provides more accurate data for the overall market and individual currencies than current metrics do. Subsequently, the Whale Sentiment Index was introduced, which measures the behavior and sentiment of crypto actors with substantial holdings through complex on-chain analyses.
In mid-2023, the team was joined by Sven, who specializes in banking & finance and works as an analyst for industrial companies. He significantly contributed to the development of systems that enable us to measure the accuracy and quality of our data, thereby continuously optimizing our algorithms.
Today, _crymet is one of the leading data providers for market sentiment indicators and trends. Every 12 hours, more than 10,000 data points are collected, weighted, evaluated, and aggregated into indices. These metrics can be integral to market analyses, making price changes, volatility and cycles more understandable.
Our roadmap for the coming years includes not only further improvement of the accuracy and precision of our metrics but also a continuous increase in the density of the underlying data we aggregate. Additionally, we are working on new graphical models to display data more simply and precisely. In the coming years, we also plan to list more cryptocurrencies and offer additional metrics.
